High View Farms is owned and operated by
Rosanne Oblen. Rosanne and her family have
lived in Budd Lake since 1984. She began
teaching about Agricultural Education in 1998.
The idea came to her one day when her son
had a friend over. She asked the little boy
if he wanted to see a chicken lay an egg, and
he replied that eggs come from A&P. She
chuckled and explained to him that eggs come
from chickens first. This child's confusion
about where things came from proved to
Rosanne the importance of Agriculture
Education for our youth.
Rosanne has learned and taken care of farm
animals for 19 years, and has milked cows
for 16 years at a neighboring dairy farm. 
She is a member of the Mt. Olive Chamber
of Commerce and Farm Bureau.
